just today my brother and i found a really neat back-woods trail, right across our street. we've been living in our house for 12 years now and we've only just discovered it! it's not a huge thing, it's just funny...
we make films and such, and thought it'd be a really cool place to shoot. it's just weird that it's been there all along, and we've never taken the steps across 50 feet to get there.

similar exploration, but towards the back of my house. the 'across the street' aspect felt like we would be trespassing on our neighbor's yards. only recently we've discovered it was actually public property, but no one goes back there anyway.
it's just so weird that it was right across the street the whole time, while my friends and i rode our bikes 15+ miles to different towns when we were little

I have a problem discovering the area I live in every time I get off my face.
