family glue by global goon this is a release i've been waiting for a long time to hear. I was quite shocked at first, this album is really quite unlike any other global goon album. I wasn't too sure at first, but repeated listens have revealed a tight, funky, psychadelic monster of an album. i love it, my friends love it too! I played it at a party the other night, we were all high on class A's, tripping our collective box off to the likes of "ded weird keks", "family glue" even the piece of ambient electronica known only as "pause". This is a real grower! I like it more each time it plays. It makes me feel good, whole, joyous. i reccommend it to any fans of early aphex, plaid, luke vibert, boards of canada. 9/10 |
