they really shouldnt make up release dates and then break
the promise of releasing it, its very unprofessional. They
are doing th same with Half Life 2 also. I mean, i dont mind
waiting for an excelent game, but you just cant lie like
that (or keep breaking promises).

anyway, i hope they are both good.

it's based off geforce1 gpu.

Doom3 NEVER MADE RELEASD DATES.

Released dates were only speculated.

Well id is not announcing any release dates at all. Its the
fuckers at EA and the online stores that are doing that.
They do so in order to get preorders which they then accrue
interest on. Its all very greedy.

oh ok

well still, those other places shouldnt make up false
release dates. And as for HL, same thing.

I hope both games are involving++, ive been needing a single
player game to play for a while :p

they shouldn't get you excited about a computer game?

if its the beta that was leaked a long time ago, its real
bad, it was meant to be run on two processors, and the
average frame rate on high end comps is still like < 3 fps

Lost in this crazy shuffle is Far Cry... awesome looking
shooter with HUGE landscapes and draw distances.

Half Life is going to be better than Doom, whether or not
the engine is. Both look great though. It's been such a
fucking mess, though. But these delays usually end well,
historically.

regardless of whether it's good (if I ever even have a
computer that can play it) I'll always love doom2 and the
entire culture of software it spawned like level editors and
source ports.
