Best Aphex gig I ever went to was back in mid 90s...at Brixton Academy... It was a 24hr Hawkwind gig with Aphex as one of numerous support bands...(only reason I went was for the Twin: even managed to get some really decent Es to keep me going for that 24hrs as well)... Needless to say, he didn't go down that well with all the tripped out hippies...He somehow located the resonate freq of the place and made the whole building shake with Bass...There were some seriously frigtened looking people wandering about... Perfect... |
