I think I told the story one time of how I accidentally
threw the keys to my apartment into a dumpster at 4.00AM.
College dumpsters are so fucking sick, but still some
dumbass bums are always rummaging around through college
students soiled garbage.

7 boxes of snack pack chips ( 10 small size bags of
chips in each box w/ a var. of chips ) perfect for my kids
lunch !

I read this over that and found it quite depressing. Just my
view

delish

why don't these people use the time to type up all that shit
about finding rubbish-food and go try to look for a job or
something?
or are they just wealthy people who enjoy eating out of the
trash for some reason?

many public libraries offer internet usage for free

i guess that's how they're using it?

There's a newsgroup as well. alt.dumpster.

I saw a thing on the TV about these guy in London who do it
as well. They got a whole meal just from raiding the trash.
There was also a guy who went round people's gardens
collecting snails so he could cook them for his tea.

yeah, i guess that makes sense that they are accessing the
forum through a public library. but it is funny that they
could be using that access to learn something worthwhile,
but instead they just use it to brag about their
dumpster-forays.

yeah, like they could use it for online education, get a
degree or something and actually drag themselves up instead
of staying where they are

heh

but, well i guess learning how to get food for nothing
(except having to dig through gross stuff, and risk getting
sick from it) is a somewhat worthwhile skill.

yeah, that too

there'd be a listing of places that dump good food in the
bin, so they could go and get it

heh

these people are normal people, why do you think they are
homeless?
they do it for the thrill of finding something cool (they've
found some pentium4's and loads of electronic stuff) and
getting it for free.
though i agree eating something from a dumpster is quite
disgusting.

two prime dumpster diving spots:

-einstein bagels
-krispy kreme

still fresh, same-day stuff. all packaged just as though you
would've purchased it. only...well. you didn't. and that's
what's so great.
