um ive never done it, but if you drink an entire bottle of cough syrup, you will trip on the dxm in it. but from the descriptions of it, it's totally not worth it. stuck-to-the-floor-in-a-drunken-way bad. I also heard from a friend that malcolm x actually tried the nutmeg thing, and yeah despite earthleakage's discouraging review of it, it definitely does SOMETHING. it's an historical ingredient in many a witch's potion. check out a book called "long strange trip". people have been expanding their minds or whatever since they painted on caves. I tripped on sunday, btw. Strongest trip ever, mostly tried mushrooms before, actually got to that people-are-monkeys stage, and then my friends sort of had to reintergrate me into rational human society. this is after i honestly thought my girlfriend was the devil for a hot-minute. every trip i went on that i didn't plan has gone way better than the planned ones. um but in the end i had some pretty life changing thoughts coaxed out of me. and i cleaned my room the next day. psychedelic drugs shouldn't be treated lightly, but i recommend pretty much everybody who's been tempted try it at least once. going insane and then coming back is a pretty grounding experience if you ask me. my girlfriend calls it a concentrated dosage of life and she's right. |

ehm.. the reason you'll trip on cough-syrup is not anything called DXM. It is because most cough-syrups contain alcohol. They mix 96% in it, in such a ratio that if you drink a whole bottle, you'll probably get a bit drunk, that's all. |
