at first I thought it might be a pic of an iraqi child who
had been exposed to too much radiation while in development
inside the mother or something like that.. that doesn't make
it any more or less funny, and it would still be just as
sad.. probably more.

still though theres something about it that makes me
laugh... it might be because a friend and I always used to
draw really fucked up heinous faces of imaginary characters,
and maybe this one is reminding me of that.

sweeeeeet dude... an old classic indeed!!

zephyr twin: i dont know why all these types of image are
interesting to me... in real life ive seen 2 dead bodies,
outside of a morgue/funeral home..... it didnt bother me
really, I was interested... always have been.

offline Zephyr Twin from ΔΔΔ on 2004-02-18 22:49 [#01079685]

I don't know how I would react to seeing a dead body in real
life.. I mean i've been to funerals and all, but thats
different than finding a corpse in a swamp or seeing someone
dismembered in an industrial accident.. that shit is way
different than a made-up (as in with cosmetics, not
imaginary =p) person in a coffin.

I don't often like looking at sites like rotten and ogrish,
but I admit that once I look at one pic, I start looking at
more and more.. I admit it's intriguing to see people with
their shit really fucked up. I just don't know how well I'd
handle the real thing.

offline REFLEX from Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) on 2004-02-18 22:53 [#01079690]

the real thing is hard to deal with sometimes, usually its
when humans are faced with something other than death....
like dismemberment, or something to that effect. a bad bad
accident, where we know that the person injured is still
alive and in a large deal of pain. death sometimes seems
peaceful in that light.

ever since I was in grade 7 ive had a fascination with death
and such things. its never been a big deal to me. i know
lots of people who this interests as well, all are normal
persons.

well I think it's something that is naturally intriguing..
Everyone wonders what comes after the end, if anything at
all. I think that's why it scares us and captivates us at
the same time... death really is the 'final' frontier.

offline REFLEX from Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) on 2004-02-18 22:57 [#01079695]

yeah it is..... i could easily agree.. and do.

gore is just what most people dont want to look at, take
note of or pay attention to, iam the opposite.

ive seen a drowned body and a accident on the freeway where
they were dead on the ground, pretty much missing most of
their head.. but it made me want to understand death and our
bodies inside and out.

yeah I can see that having that kind of effect on you, you
just have an open and curious mind. If that kind of stuff
fascinates you, you might want to look into a career in
phorensics/criminology because looking at dead bodies is
definately part of the job.. It would put you in a position
to be exposed to that sort of thing fairly often, and I'm
sure you'd learn plenty about human anatomy.

Death is just the ceasation of biological functions.
Nothing to understand, nothing to worry about.

yeah but being dead is certainly less fun than being
alive... thats what bothers some people. Personally I'm
going to miss listening to all my favorite artists and
hanging out with my friends... wait, no I'm not. you're
right, it's stupid to worry about it.

I dont worry about death at all. no matter what I would
believe of an after life or any such thing, death is no
concern.
