I've been going through my CDs and pulled out about 150
that I'm going to add to eBay over the next week or so.

All kinds of music will be on offer, but from an
electronica point of view I've already added Muslimgauze,
Cex, V/Vm, FSOL, Mira Calix, SND, Oval, Mum, Nobukazu
Takemura and Susumu Yokota CDs.

Yet to be added are CDs by Squarepusher, Aphex
Twin/Caustic Window, Universal Indicator, Venetian Snares,
more Cex, more Muslingauze, more Mira Calix, Drexciya, Four
Tet, EU and more.

Hopefully, you will find my eBay page by clicking here.

You are selling your soul man. Desperate in need of money?

Not really no, but it seems silly to have money tied up in
CDs I dont listen to when I can sell them and use the
proceeds to buy new music or other things.

I'm watching the Chaos AD Buzz Caner 2LP auction right now.
I love this side of Squarepusher. It's already past my limit
though, esp since I have CD. But who knows???

Does anyone else like this album?

what are you chatting about?

he'll probably make MP3 or AAC copies of them in high
quality

he'll still be able to listen to them

this isn't a bad idea actually.......copy all of your cd's
to your hard drive, make sure they're backed up somewhere,
and sell the originals

heh

i might try this

i have a mac and I use LAME for encoding music, it works
through itunes, only thing is it's slower... but you get
better quality.

don't like MP3's......i can hear artefacts really badly,
even at (what i class as "decent quality") 160Kbps

AAC at 160Kbps however, I can hardly hear the difference
from raw audio.

is LAME free?
can you get it for Mac OS X?

I use vbr standard, but if you want even better quality use
vbr extreme. Standard is ok for most music, I only use
extreme for complicated, layered music like Autechre.

No, I don't have a problem with owning Britney Spears and
Shakira CDs. I'm no musical snob. I like the singles, but
they just don't get listened to, so they're on sale.

don't be so defensive... you can buy Britney Spears,
Shakira, Holly Valance, Geri Haliwell, whatever, I just
thought they looked out of place in a list of pretty good
artists, thought maybe you were selling some of your 14 yr
old sisters music maybe. Anyway, each to their own.
