I have a quiz tomorrow in my Music Tech class and part of
it will be listening based.. I remember most of it, but
there are a few that (well he said all of them would be on
the site, but they aren't) weren't on the site that I would
like to hear before tomorrow.. Does anyhave these particular
files?

Stockhausen - anything really
Wendy Carlos - anything from her album "Switched On Bach"
Morton Subotnik - Silver apples of the moon
Tangerine Dream - Astral Voyager (i'll probably be able to
find this one)
Tomita's "remix" (if you want to call it that) of
Massorgsky's "Ballet of the two chicks"

If you have any of these and wouldn't mind transferring them
to me over AIM or something, it would be much easier than me
trying to wait in line forever on soulseek (so far I haven't
found any of what I've searched for anyway)

Also, feel free to post your thoughts on any of the defining
artists in electronic such as the ones I mentioned or
others. Who do you think really helped get the electronic
ball rolling? I'd say probably the ones I have listed with
the addition of Kraftwerk and Eno.

Thanks

87-88 era skinny puppy was definitely an influence on
autechre, you can hear it in the beats.

ones that were on this quiz in class before we took it... So

Miles Davis' Dark Magus must have influenced many idm
artists.
