fucking french shitcake fartknockers.

a mate rang me and said "i gots free tickets to "air" -
you wanna go"...so of course i helped me mate out and went.
i wasn't really familiar with their stuff cept for "Sexy
boy" song which was nice.

anyway it was crapolla - dreamy simple sound noodlings with
bullshit vocals, poxy acoustic guitar strumming and "we're
so crazy" husky Gaulish ramblings. It was sooo far removed
from decent music i wanted to a tricolour handerchief to
blow my nose into. Don't go and see em, ever!

i really liked moon safari. a good bedtime record.
havent heard virgin suicides soundtrack.
hated what i heard of their 2nd proper lp.
won a remix cd of their stuff. hardly ever listened to it.
the mr.oizo remix was amusing though.
like what ive heard of talkie walkie. not sure i'll ever
love their stuff. but as with moon safari, the new lp seems
like nice chilled out stuff for dozing off to/courting one's
better half. :)

im not sure id like to hear it live though. for me its
always been an intimate album. shared amongst friends in a
smoky room at the end of a night back in uni.. or me + my
girlfriend for just chilling out to. dont know how it would
translate well to large venues + loads of sweaty air-fans.

keyfumbler.. im half french too.

I like Moon Safari, but their new one is boring and simple.
