my very first CD i bought was move your ass by them. i liked them then, because it was my first real contact to electronic music. they started to repeat themselves, so i got bored soon and looked for new music which is not so boring and found EyeQ. Monoid must know this label, it is also German. |

as far as i remember it was the sublabel for trance matters of sven väth. harthouse was also good, but it bores me for long, so i put it out of my collection. eyeQ - behind the eye (double CD) is quite cool |

theyre german, not british.. their sound isnt distinctly german though.. its more that horrible nondescript euro-trance thing.. *shudder* when i was working in a restaurant we had an albanian potwasher. he was 16 + had just come to britain with his brother to earn more so they sould support their mother back in albania. he was a bodybuilder. always wore sleeveless vest tops. loved scooter. bought himself a mobile phone.. all year round he had jingle bells as a ringtone on his phone. he was under the impression that it was a scooter tune. people spent months trying to explain to him that it was a christmas carol.. he didnt believe anyone. speaks volumes about scooters music. |

i don't know how it is in UK but here in germany the media calls euro-dance as techno... blank and jones... scooter ... such things they call techno btw: funny story - hahaha |

luckily, by+large, the distinction is made between techno+euro-dance.. some of my cousins are french though, so if i happen to mention a decent techno record ive heard they start looking at me funny. its getting better in france now - but a few years ago ANYTHING not played on traditional instruments was called techno. thankfully, theyre finally realising the wide spectrum of electronic music available. they even recognise drum&bass now.. *shock/horror* |
