Maybe i'm just getting excited about the growth of mp3 audio as a legit medium for releases and how that will affect the industry (no doubt it will be good for the art. it's like economic natural selection), but the recording industry hasn't seen a change this drastic since the extinction of those superfluously mammoth cd boxes...
so as an agile collector i embrace mp3s rather than shun them for the benefit of my cds and vinyl. i enjoy making new folders on the comp for new releases, etc.
so anyway, i just thought i'd recommend, emphatically, checking out net labels like monotonik, binkcrsh, etc because you will find something you like.
one of my favorite netlabel releases right now is a remix ep on suicide in installments...
so much music, so little time...

i think its an interesting discussion. i have been trying to raise with people for a long time. whether or not mp3 releases and net labels are accepted as legitimate ways of releasing music. currently its devalued because its free which is pretty fucking stupid. if i charged you for an mp3 would you enjoy it more?

if i had lots of money spare i'd go spend it all on warpmart and boomkat and ebay. i love mp3 for its audience reaching possibilities but i don't ever want to sell or buy one.

bleep wont die soon at all. bleep will flourish, especially after (hopefully) adding labels like rephlex/skam etc.
perhaps you should try buying a mp3 on bleep and seeing what you feel about it
