I have a gameboy advance emulator and when i load up a rom
it plays fine except for the audio. i just get a lot of
static instead of sound, anyone know what could be causing
this?

It's a common problem with emulation as a whole. Sound chips
are a lot harder to emulate accurately than gfx ones.

That said, there are GBA emulators where the sound is pretty
good. I know some gba games require patching to get the
sound working on emulators. Does it happen with all games?
If so, look in the emulator help file and if that's no help,
consider changing emulator, I reocmmend visualboy advance
for GBA.

Yes, I was going to say, Metroid Fusion is one I know
suffers from the problem. I think there is a patch for the
rom and/or the emulator that sorts it out though... talk to
Ophecks, I know he has corrected that particular problem.
