Anyone know what piece of equipment he uses live (like on
the kid A tour, and on SNL). It looks likes a simple synth,
but it has a slider he uses...

if you are talking about the national anthem on saturday

I think it is actually the "French Connection" by Analogue
Systems which was modelled on the Ondes Martinet.

no but seriously you are probably right. i thought it was
the actual original instrument but after doing some searches
to double check the spelling i did come across the french
connection synth and it would make more sense that he is
using that

its an ondes martinet. he had one of oliver messeans - then
had some new ones made so he wouldnt have to bring the old
one out. i think those are the ones with the other names.
hes going to play a piece he wrote for the ondes w/ london
symphonetta called 'smear' sometime soon.
