teeth it surprises me that you, of all people would be into
this genre/core grouping. i think anything is a genre now
adays if you add "core" to the end of it. whats up with
that? sounds like highschool in here

wizards teeth on 2001-12-13 16:51 [#00060589]

I am developing one style as a small project:

Static-Apple-Core

The noise of still fruit being stared at by some porcelain
figures of Jesus.

The albumn will be four tracks long and will include four
pictures of porcelain Jesus staring at four fruits:

1. Jesus stares at orange
2. Jesus stares at apple
3. Jesus stares at pineapple
4. Jesus stares at banana

Each track will last for sixteen minutes

The instructions will be issued at the start :

“Play tunes and look at pictures whilst you play the
records”

1. Track one will consist of my mother saying “jesus
stares at orange”

The rest will be silence

Noise..things like Pussy Galore, Surgery, Killdozer, Big
Black, Arsenal, Unsane etc..

Hey teeth -

sorry for causing that uproar about the black noise:

I guess i should have watched my words a bit more
carefully.. i think (although I'm still a bit sketchy on it)
it was somehow negative visual feedback or so? -- because
the pan sonic guys lifted their home made synth and started
playing "feedbacK" - and so as it was hooked up to a visual
thing could well be that it was just the visual projector
going all bonkers .. The actual sound was still very
white!!!

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-12-14 02:12 [#00060686]

there are too many cores for my taste... personally I like
HARDcore the best... as in HARDcore porn!!!!! :)

rF from purf on 2001-12-14 03:38 [#00060692]

noisecore = my experimental noise project testsignal. when
we play live, we'll play the most extreme noise with the
following:
a noise generator
a toy keyboard hooked up to 5 distortion pedals
various percussion instruments (barrels, tins, old
speaker/equipment boxes) all mic'd up and through effects
a microphone to scream abuse at the audience (through
distortion)
a walkman with britney spears music on it played through
ring modulator and gate effects
a drum machine with a constant distorted snare rush playing
that we fade in every now and then[]

Korben Dallas from www.mp3.com/polcXd on 2001-12-14 05:55 [#00060716]

You could just have 60 minutes of white noise and turn it up
real loud - i'm sure you will start hearing patterns n
things within the noise?? - well maybe not

rF on 2001-12-14 06:31 [#00060720]

hmm we'll try that when we play live..
extreme extreme noise!
or just play random notes and drum sounds all mixed together
at 347.663 bpm

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-12-14 06:35 [#00060722]

Yeah, the only core I like is HARDCORE porno. I dislike
apple cores with a passions!
