the most amusing thing about it is his penguin-body.

come to think of it, how can he grip that sitck with only a
wing?

eddie izzard has a whole standup piece about cats using the
redundant thumb they have halfway up their legs to fire
rubber bands at you when youre not watching..
have you seen it?

are you really from select-a-disc?

No. I was hinting at some dialogue from Meet the Parents.

and

No. But it's where I go for most of my music (Notts). You
live near Nottingham?

lived there for three years while studying.
might be moving back to work on a project with a few mates.
girlfriend has another year of study + im actually coming up
to visit her tomorrow for the weekend.

selectadisc has some really good stuff in. prices can be
surprisingly good too, for a high street shop. the only
problems ive had with the shop is that theres no way of
hearing what youre buying before actually purchasing it. the
best compromise theyre prepared to make is to put it on the
shop stereo on 'sample' mode - where you get 10secs of each
track (not enough to make your mind up over the noise of
other shoppers).. on occasion the staff have been fucking
rude aswell.
but its a good shop nonetheless.
do you ever look around fopp?

Fopp can be good as well, especially all round... decent
cult DVD selection. And plus they're good for ordering,
Select-a-Disc are fucking useless for that.

fopp has good links with labels like warp + ninja so those
cds are generally much cheaper than anywhere else. good for
picking up all the impulse! label jazz recordings too.
theyve got better the longer theyve been open.
first went to a fopp when i was edinburgh a few years ago.
only popped in for a look + came out having spent £120 on
vinyl+cds.

do you ever go to moog?
