The sickest, most disturbing picture I've ever seen was a
pile of people at a German concentration camp, in a book my
grandfather got for Christmas. It looked like some of them
were alive, but I dunno. They had that gleam in their eye.

i saw archive film footage of exactly that a few years ago.
bodies just being dumped one on top of the other in the
ground. thrown in like sacks of grain or something. it was
horrible. makes you feel really cold seeing their faces.

Cambodia, Rwanda , the Balkans... the list just keeps
getting longer. Will people ever learn?

"You know all that money we spend on the military ever year
- trillions of dollars? Instead, if we use this money to
feed and clothe the poor of this world, which it would do
many times over, then we can explore space, inner and outer,
together, as one race." - Bill Hicks

i don't doubt for a second that they get a million times
worse than that. i'm just not very familiar with everything
that happened during either of the wars - something i'd like
to fix :P
