i think it's time to throw myself at the appreciation
threads!

I love Sergio Leones films! All the cool closeups, and the
over-exaggurated western-film-things! And Ennio Morricone on
the music is BRILLIANT!

totally agree.

well, Sergio Leone western movies are masterpieces and
soundtracks by Ennio Morricone are simply superlatives.

'Once Upon a Time in the West' is his best film. I love the
Eastwood films as well, but Charles Bronson, Henry Fonda and
Jason Robards own this picture. Henry Fonda's Frank, may be
the greatest western villian there has ever been. It also
has marvelous dialogue.

"People scare better when they're dying."

"How can you trust a man who wears both a belt and
suspenders? The man can't even trust his own pants."

"You know, Jill, you remind me of my mother. She was the
biggest whore in Alameda and the finest woman that ever
lived. Whoever my father was, for an hour or for a month -
he must have been a happy man."

"....looks like we're shy one horse."
"You brought two too many."

"I've got a feeling when he stops whittlin'... Somethin's
gonna happen."

I love them all, i think they created their own parallel
western history, I don't really know what I mean by saying
that, just that whilst i think "Fistfull of dollars" and
"For a few dollars more" are beyond words in goodness, "The
Good, the Bad, and the ugly" is just...
the...best.....film.... ever...made. Apparently it might be
re-made. Oh yes, then you'll realise what a fucking jihad is
when i go western on some director's arse.
