so I've tryed this max/msp thing some while ago. and I was
kinda like "meh".
doesn't seem like fun to be honest. and I don't even have
the knowledge for it.but I would like to hear something that
someone here on the board made using only max/msp. maybe a
short loop or something. maybe I'll try it again if someone
can really let me hear what you can do with it because I
can't do shit with it.

listen to ep7, gantz graf, or draft to see a few examples of
what you can do with it.

I thought they were more into Kyma, especially on Confield.

Autechre loves max/msp, or that is, they loved max/msp.
It's the primary program they use for all their algorithmic
stuff, and it's the main program they used for their 2001
tour. I have one of their live max/msp patches, its just a
simple loop player with a few custom made effects (very
autechre confield sounding, no matter what samples you load
to be looped).

But with all that in consideration, they still use tons of
other stuff, like everyone else.

I know someone was going to mention autechre or aphex twin
or whatever. they probably use max but other stuff to. I
just wanna hear something like a drumloop when it's dry, and
that same drumloop when it has been run trough max/msp with
modulations and stuff on that loop.

I have the windows version of max msp, but I'm no brain
surgeon I can't make my own patches very well. is there a
place I can go to get other peoples? I'm sure people share
them somewhere. I don't want to be a computer programmer I
just want to use interesting tools.
