too far back to remember really...i guess i was totally
impressed by his dj skills, those records he's using are
mostly just loops but he can use them so perfectly, he does
a new tune out of almost nothing...i hope he'll start making
minimal techno again.
my absolute favourite album of his is "art of connecting".

Jeff and Derrick are the only two that keep Djing solid.
Have you heard jeffs early mixes from the 80's where he'd
still cut from record to record really fast but it'd be Gary
numan/ Human League/giorgio moroder/art of noise/depache
mode etc.?
