Great album. My 1st Orbitalalbum. I think the first track
is my fav on this album, but I'm not sure. I like it though.

Best track is 3... Know where to run...

Many think this is a shit album coz it's nothing like their
original stuff.. I hate The Altogether more (except
meltdown.)

Insides is the best tho.... followed by Brown album. Check
em out mate!

i think its shit. lacking in originality, clearly run out of
ideas, and bordering on self-parody. the only saving grace
is the john cravens newsround sample.

yeah I have Brown album, and I like it a lot, I've heard
some tracks of In Sides which were ok...

I didn't like this album back 1st when I bought it (2001),
but since then I've listened to it a couple of times and it
seems to fit the winterseason pretty well.

I also like how many tracks are connected to eachother.

I just think that by this time they had lost the spark that
made them great, i think the first fours albums and the ep's
they released before this were all really good but this
album just seemed to be done by numbers.

it's ok, but I haven't listened to Orbital in a while
anyways, let alone this album... Snivilization is personally
my favorite Orbital album at the moment...

this was my first orbital, i always hear people slagging it
off, great listen all the way through, the melodies are top
notch, though i must say the percussion/beats aren't all
that great, not so much that i find it annoying. it has the
fly agaric thumbs up.

the problem of this album is that thte previous 4 lps and
all the eps are absolute genious.

its true that in comparison it may seem weak, but its not,
its a great album, not a weak track in it... I couldnt say
its bettere than any of the previous works, but it is by no
means a let down.
one of my fav albums

Yeah I love this one too. Great widescreen style production,
nice melodies and a an original vibe all the way through.
I hate the altogether apart from Meltdown too, though.

altogether is indeed the weakest, but they really wanted to
do kind of a "songs album"
not only meltdown is nice there... also:
funny break
doctor?

I don't like this album that much but it's not all bad. No
way out is good. Even my sister used to borrow this cd just
to listen to this one track.
Spare parts express, Nothing left 1&2 are ok too.
I'm not that much into Orbital nowadays. Sounds too
simplistic or something, altough that doesn't have to be a
bad thing. Ambient can be very simplistic but excellent.

I like it. My third favourite Orbital album, I think, behind
In Sides and Brown. It makes me think of it being Brown
album II in many ways, actually... eight songs (minus the
intro and outro on brown)... lots of tracks joining
together... first single the ambient last track, second
single being the one in two parts on the album, both being
their most upbeat and dancey...
Only it's not quite as good as Brown.

I think MON is better than Altogether.

My friend mentioned something as we discussed what a let
down the Altogether was.

He mentioned that the fact many people find it disappointing
is because it has Orbital's name on it. If it would have
been someone else that released Altogether or even MON, it
would not have been looked down at so much.

I guess you just have really high expectations for Orbital
after hearing their previous work, but MON is not all that
bad though.

I love Spare Parts Express!

I hate Altogether except for a few select tracks.

I like Tension,FUnny Break, Doctor?.

Insides is great masterpiece.

Snivilisation is good too though.Love Forever!

I'm having a hard time determining which pre MON orbital I
prefer. They're all sooo good. I'm currently adicted to the
first track of snivilisation 'forever' (?)

Obviously I didn't get MON or The Altogether as they're
(last time I dloaded em) shit.

I heard the soundtrack, sounded alot like in
sides-type-stuff.

I'm a huge orbital fan. MON is a solid release in my opinion
the vocals on style are gorgeous.

Ah, I'm now listening to Forever from Snivilisation as we
speak. I found the album gets a bit weak in the middle, but
some tracks, like Forever, are fucking outstanding.
I really like the Octane soundtrack, only it... well, it
generally sounds nothing like Orbital. Lots of sparse dark
ambient stuff. Very... well, soundtracky. ;) One of the
synths they use a lot on it is the same that features
heavily in Dwr Budr on In Sides, which is probably where
that comparison came from.
I'm really looking forward to the new album. I have a
feeling, for some reason, it's going to be far, far better
than The Altogether... more cohesive and mature, a bit more
like Sniv or In Sides.
