nothin wrong with living on a giant rock in the water! NO WAIT, there is. - you never get any bands at all - you cant find rare cds, or rare anything for that matter - it smells downtown - people talk funny - newfie jokes are for some reason only funny when told by another newfie, if anyone else tells them then the newfies get mad. - you dont have any variety at all - the weather sucks almost all year around - stuff costs too much - and if you get rich the first thing you do is get your ass out of here. Yes i do live in newfoundland, but i am not a newfie. Kinda like living with apes in order to better understanding them, but missing the boat and getting stuck with them (not that i want to associate newfies with apes....). Whats your opinion Funk? |

I like Newfoundland, BTW. I was there camping last summer, and their accents are no worse than ours in Nova Scotia. But I don't have that accent, I sound normal! :-) |

I love Newfoundland, I was there last summer, nice people. And it IS a stereotype that we're all dumb. Notice the high concentration of Atlantic people on here? Cuz we have good taste. And I don't sound any different than anyone else, though I DO say ''eh'' quite a lot. |
