I dunno! Its hard to say, if they do ill be quite wary of it
until it actually comes out, one of the main reasons why its
so scary as a game is because your playing it..... not cause
your watching it. And also, I dont think they could pull of
the suspense and eerieness of the whole deal in a movie. Im
just being pessimistic about it I know, but still think
about it.

You hold some very valid points... I think most people think
"oh hell yeah, a silent hill game!" but never think about
the logistics of it all.. I'm also going to remain
pessimistic till it comes out (if ever)

I too will remain pessimistic, like REFLEX says, one of the
key points to Silent Hill is that you play it yourself.
Watching it won't be half as scary and it would take ALOT of
effort to pull it off

good man!

thats my point as I made it before, that it will never be as
scary as actually playing the game, i know that playing it
is nerve wracking, you get an eerie feeling going around
corners, hearing those noises, and knowing youll have to
deal with it, not some character who you have no control
over. it cannot be the same thing, so I hope they dont make
a movie.

the movie version is confirmed, they even have a director
signed on to do it.

So, who do you guys think would make a good actor in the
movie?

For some strange reason... I could see Steve Buscemi playing
the main character...

"Attached to the project is producer Samuel Hadida, whose
credits include True Romance, Spider, and Brotherhood of the
Wolf, the latter of which was directed by Christophe Gans.
Konami confirmed that Gans would be the director. Gans'
other credits include H.P. Lovecraft's Necronomicon: Book of
the Dead and the Japanese anime Crying Freeman.

Konami will be working closely with Davis Films on the
film's script, creature and character design, and
soundtrack."

doesn't sound too bad

I hope they use actual material creatures, I dont wanna see
any of that Computer Generated crap, that could kill the
movie.

as long as it's not some young Hollywood pretty boy like
Afleck I don't mind, so long as they are a good actor.

yeah i know, the film Jacobs Ladder (that inspired Silent
Hill) had virtually no CG. I see no need to use much CG in a
Silent Hill movie.

Yeah, thats why I said Buscemi, hes like a anti-hollywood
actor, the way he looks, and the way he talks, plus I think
hes a really good actor.

Spider, a David Cronenberg film was good too. And the fact
that the Gans directed a H P Lovecraft story seems promising

Hey, one of these days I'm going to be on Who Wants to be a
Millionaire, and I'll be up to the million dollae question,
and all out of life lines. And Regis (or whomever) will
ask.

In the 1994 movie "Airheads" around 57 minutes into the
movie a promotional poster for what album can be seen in the
background?

A. Nine Inch Nails - Broken
B. Coil - Love's Secret Domain
C. Depeche Mode - Violator
D. Metallica - Metallica

and I will say LOVE'S SECRET DOMAIN FINAL ANSWER!!!!

and Regis will scream YOU JUST WON A MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!
