is an interview with Kid 606 promoting Kill Sound Before
Sound Kills You.
He's pretty much on vitriolic form, saying IDM fans are
jerks and he's hate to produce a rock band because they are
all stoned losers.

I haven't listened to Kid 606, but my friend says he is
unimaginitive laptop glitch crapola.

Kid 606 on being catagorised as IDM:

"IDM fans are generally pretentious jerks, give them a
beefburger and they'll turn their nose up at it, put a slice
of brie on it and they'll think it's great"

Kid 606 on producing rock bands

"Who in their right mind would want to be shacked up with
six stoned losers for months on end. Why should i spend six
months helping, say, The Rapture get their cowbells to sound
right, let some other idiot do that"

Kid 606 on remixing:

"Usually the acts offered are so weak I don't want to spend
three days of my life working on them"

Kid 606 on the single format dying out"

"There are so many prostitues making a living out of remixes
but never putting out their own songs.I'll be happy to see
them out of a job"

He also says that with Kill Sound... he wanted to make a
dancable album and has saved a couple of really dance-pop
songs to be put out as singles. I agree with most of the
poits he's making but he's and angry guy isn't he?
