McDonalds is dangerous for your health...

...of course we all know that now...

but still - kinda scary.

(sorry if this link has been brought up before)

I read about it in the paper the other day. The whole thing
seems a bit stupid. Looking at what they stated he ate for
each meal it's not surprising. He stuffed himself with tons
of food. If he ate the same volume of food from elsewhere
he would probably end up in a similar state.

he's making art! he set a sign! unfortunately, i think there
will be not the feedback he expected as he started this
experiment.

For me there is no reason why to go to McDonalds, since i am
vegetarian, and their fried frites sucks :-p

anyway

hmm, im pretty sure we have food of better quality in our mc
donalds - very tough regulations about what can be used and
what not. and there isn't anything wrong if you don't
constantly eat it, and it's nice if you combine it with
vegetables and fruit. i think.

the food is fucking disgusting, usually cold, the service is
shit, the floor is covered in 6 niches of garbage, and its
full of hyperactive 11 yr olds screaming at the top of their
voices. just the place to enjoy eating my tea.

subway is much cooler, food is not comparable with mcdonalds
(fit-food vs. junk-food)

i worked at McDonald's for five years (mostly in high
school) and for employees you can build whatever you want
outta whatever they got
towards the end I was putting salads inside tortillas

naa.. it's a bit of both, i think.
they got in some big trouble after someone working there
told a hindu man that the fries were vegetarian and he later
found out they weren't and then sued the company.

Ok, the guy was most likely a vegan. If you all-of-a-sudden
eat nothing but grease-laden low quality meat from mcdonalds
three meals a day, then of course you're going to be blowing
chunks and in general bad health.

Same thing would happen if a carnivore immediately starts an
all-vegan diet. If your digestive system is used to only
healthy food, or only crap food, you're gonna have some
serious problems adapting to an entirely different food
source.

It wouldve been more accurate if they had found an omnivore
to do this experiment.

And just for record I don't really care for the food there,
either.

They have salad and grilled chicken, too. (I haven't been
to a mcdees more than 2 times in the last decade), but I
think they do. Did he eat that stuff, also?

i guess he did it to show how unhealthy junk-food is, so he
chose mcdonalds, and he chose the worst things he could eat
there, i think, so you can remove salad from his diet

Actually salad is quite fattening when you put salad
dressing on it.

yeah, and bigmac eating is good for health - if you leave
the sauce and the meat
