The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

haha, cold.
Don't charities have registered status in the US? This doesn't look as though it is a charity at all, it looks like a registered company making money through a network of "good causes sites" by using click through advertising...there appears to be very little information about how the money is used.

I don't really support breast cancer charities... they get far more money than prostate and testicular cancer charities, both of which kill far more people. They, however, are not nice and marketable; unlike breast cancer, which can just get a load of models in tight tops and get national coverage as a result.

I support breast cancer causes for the following reasons.
a) You can see titties and they feel nice.
b) They look better than bollocks
Plus...all cancer charities regardless of what form of cancer need as much support as possible.

Yeah right it is as uncomplicated as that. Besides breast cancer isn't a female only cancer you know? Ignorance is a shitty thing.

I guess we've learnt from both history, and what you've posted here, that Germans place less value on human life.
(Unless of course you are not German and you just reside there. Either way you find the culture comfortable enough to inhabit it. in which case my point stands).

Surely you are part of a culture, no? Or you are at least shaped by it.

My mum had cervical cancer when I was younger. Lukily I was too young to actually understand what was happening at the time.
She's okay now though =o)
