well Tim Burton came back with maybe the best film he's made
so it might not be that bad.

what I mean is I dont really see risky cultural films
lately...only about blades fights, matrix moves in the
space, and most digital vomit you can put in... I mean the
last samourai ?? am I on the wrong planet or what ?

you would think. In general though I think i know what you
mean and mostly agree.

he seriously should concentrate on his early works.... bad
taste 2 could be awesome but Im afraid he will have lost his
soul after that king kong seriously... Hopefully Ill be in
south america and wont event think about it when it'll be
out... fewwww Anyway im sure Jackson will not be taking its
old camera back and film it old style, it will be pixelized
gore down the toilet methinks...

I will never see the last samourai...never Im afraid... kill
bill either... its another good exemple of how wrong things
are...Tarentino was great before too...its not only a dream
its a scary reality...

WTF? Kill Bill was excelent, easily one of his best films if
part 2 is as good

Points: 4904 Status: Regular

yes well I might be wrong, but for kill bill as an exemple,
Kitano (who was one of the inspirations of Tarentino for the
film) totally laughs at its work and he thinks that if
Tarentino's kill bill is a success in Japan, it's only
because it's totally ridiculous (and Ive only see the
trailer but its already very ridiculous so I'm trusting good
old Kitano for that matter) Plus whats the point with blades
??? its just fashionable so everybody do it... or use
special effects when its not needed....................

BLABLABLA

worst than pulp fiction or Jackie Brown

You never know he could pull it off. Totally depends on the
actors he gets. And how King Kong will be created.

I'll give it a "wait and see"

i like some of tarantinos dialog in his movies but thats
about it really, havent seen kill bill so i cannot comment
but apparently he "made the movie that he thought his fans
would want to see".

I do expect King Kong to suck, if only for the completely
uninteresting story and original movie.

Jonathan Ross loved Kill Bill and he's probably the most
accurate UK film reviewer. He loves Japanese culture so
maybe he's biased but still...

why do king kong again anyway?
they should leave old movies alone.

ahah cant beat the laughs of Kitano believe me :)
the worst with king kong is the stors we already know for so
long and which wasnt even fun from the start (was just
american coming with something because godzila was
fashionable so they came up with stupid king kong...) maybe
jackson loved the movie as a kid and wann make a special
trippy version of the vision he has of it...but Im very
afraid it will turn out monstruous...not in the good way...
Im so sad right now excuse me all if I seem insulting or
rejecting, but its my actual mood and I needed the forum to
tell as nobody wants to be with such a negative asshole :)

No, he made the movie because he "wanted to see just how
good he really was
", his own words. He kept boasting
about himself on MTV, really annoying.
Plus he wanted not just to make a great action/martial arts
movie, but nothing short of the best in the genre (also his
own words), his ego may be to big to notice it, but he's
gloriously failed that exam on both parts.

he's a twat, he called Akira Kurosawa "high brow crap"

still, "some" of his movies are good. I didn't like Jackie

hell yes... Ive seen Tarentino on tv... he looks like a 12
years old punk who just smoked its first joint behind the
school, he scared me... I dont remember him so scary before,
he looked like a nice man during pulp fiction...or maybe its
just me really so dont mind me...

why do you get so worked up about new films? Battle Angle
Alita is a good manga (i've read it). Cameron can be a good
director sometimes, especially in Sci-fi so i'm giving this
one a chance... something you seem to have a problem with

well yes I told you I havent been in a cinema to watch
american movie for more than 2 years, but Im feeling good,
there are alot of good old movies, I dont hate american
movies, just new movies, and everybody just following the
same boring line....
Im a fanatic of tmc chanel, watching at least 2 old films a
day... latest ones I really enjoyed are : "the madwoman of
Chaillot" and "Ritz" those are true gems I was so happy to
discover !!!
