To Cure a Weakling Child (Contour Regard)!!!

Arch Rival from US on 2001-04-26 13:03 [#00004717]

That tracks is so underrated! Thats one of my favourite
Aphex tracks.

What yall think about it?

i like it a lot, especially the melody line..the beginning
first min. is kinda pointless (imo) but it gets awesome

I think its a load of laughs. The remix off CTD is a better
idea than what was expressed on RDJ. But I have to say the
melody is great. Works its way around the track nicely too,
extended a bit before youd expect it to resolve. But
ultimately its just british spank anthem music.

It's awesome. Great song.

I like Contour Regard much better than the original version
that appeared on RDJ album.

This is a fucking good track, I also like it alot better
than the one on RDJ, the beat and melodie line are rock
steady

I wrote what SOUNDED like the correct keys and spacing for
the melody of the first weakling child song, search for it
in the search engine if you're interested. It's cool because
you can put the data in, say, a tracker and fiddle around
with it, or just try to understand what makes it sound so
good. I love that melody now. The 2nd version is probably
better even I think. I love come2daddy, that album has such
a short attention span.

well, the new messageboard squished it, but it still is
kinda readable. "-" is an empty timeslot with no note.

This is the one they used fo an advert for ORANGE mobile
phones over here in UK....

Pretty cool visuals as well.... was realeased a special
version of CTD with a Orange sleeve (WAP94CD) ...

Trax are:

To Cure a Weakling Child (Contour Regard) ....
Funny Little Man ....
Come to Daddy (Mummy Mix) ...
IZ-US ....

Anyone know whether this "Come to Daddy Remixes" made it's
way outside of the UK...(I know both EP's were joined for
the CTD mini-album)....
