UK under Threat

Yes thats right, next week it is alleged that this country
will be rendered totally useless. What I am talking about?
Let me explain - snow!

Yes, its been warned that us in the UK will have snow next
week, which means the everything in this country will come
to a stop. No doubt it will be the wrong type of snow
for the trains to run, and our motorways will be blocked due
to the inadequecies of the local authorities to deal with
the matter.

Personally I don't think anything will come of it, but if it
does, I hope its enough to keep me off work!

sorry - that was a terrible sentence. i wrote it in two
halves & didnt re-read.

what i meant was :
years ago (when i was still at school) the snowfall would
coincide with my birthday, and i had the day off. which was
fun.

ah, childhood memories..

every time a bird sits on a cloud and takes a piss, you get
acid rain.

It does crack me up the way the country grinds to an utter
halt for 2 inches of snow.

i remember few years ago, it was about same time, i went to
UK by car with couple of friends. it was snowing that time
as well, and well, from what i saw english drivers can't
drive on snow :) (except for mcrae haha) . i don't know if
that's cuz they're not used to snow or something but they
were all driving slower than a normal walking speed :)

No, that's because we realise we'd all die if we went any
faster. We aren't like the rest of Europe.

come to norway. we get lots of snow.. and then, after a few
days, all that is left is a two-centimetre-thick layer of
ice.. on EVERYTHING! No speeding, please.

hmm, but driving on snow is the best thing heh, well if
you're in a 4 wheel drive it's even better. when i had a 4wd
i often went and slide around, one time i went to this huge
parking lot and there were this two cops with their car and
they asked some plough driver to do a nice circle line and
then i and that cop were sliding around, they gave up soon
as each time they ran into deep snow i'd had to pull them
out, but then they just sat there and watched me go in
circles, i can tell you it was a lot of fun, hehe, i just
got my driver license then so i was all excited about
driving. i don't have 4wd and i calmed down now, but i
understand those kids who do same things as i did when i was
younger.
