oh, and i think it's a good video. bordering on on real
good, but not great. it's got an awesome dark, evil feel to
it.

and, i like most everything i've heard by plasticman...
which isn't a whole lot.

you dont seem to be able to download psyk though.. i can
only get it streamed.
which is a pity.
as im not on broadband in this house anymore.

grr..

epohs : "it's a good video. bordering on on real good, but

it."
i agree with you completely.
i love the plastikman records - but i'm well aware theyre
not everyone's "cup of tea" (especially my girlfriend's)

i recommend the "musik" lp as a good starting point. sheet
one is great too - works better as a whole lp than
individual tracks though.
the closer album (that this video is from) is wicked.. but
with this & the previous release (consumed) richie hawtin
has been pushing the minimalism of the plastikman sound
further & further.
depends whether thats your thing or not..

Musik is an acquired taste. Actually, it's probably more of
a 'mood' record, ie. I only listen to it if I'm in a certain
mood. But Konception sounds good whenever I hear it.

i do see what you mean actually..
i retract my previous statement.

i stand by sheet one being a good way into the plastikman
trilogies - as it was the first lp hawtin did under that
alias.. its where i started.. and im still loving it (and
the way the series has progressed) now..
