I thought this site would be of interest to some of you.
It's not 100% accurate in it's classifications, but it's
still worth checking out.

this is pretty cool, yeah. I don't agree with all of the
classifications but it's still nifty. Plus, it has sound
demos. ;)

Yeah...Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music, quite well known
actually. Sure it's biased and sure it's opionated, but
damn some of that commentary is funny.

it's got a great interface and design, but aside from that
it's kind of a terrible site. why bother trying to pass off
something that's authoritative and informative when it's
really all opinions and review? if this was remotely
objective, it would be useful...

Yeah aside from it not being really objective and having way
too many genres because people are dumb...the samples are
spot on IMO. Like for instance you can tell the difference
between Jungle and Drum 'n' Bass when most people think
there one in the same.

THIS Guide is severally flawed. That Mike Inc track for
example, is by Umek aka Zeta Reticula, and not by Mike
Inc...etc etc...

I don't understand why everybody thinks people who listen to
experimental electronic music are snobby.

I guess they are just jealous because we and only we listen
to the best music there is =)

fk all this classification shit anyway...
