I am on a dial up at the moment, depending on how things go
I might be home again tomorrow in which case I will have
broadband...anyways, whenever I can I will listen and
comment blah blah blah.

Do you support Roma or is that just a fashion statement?

The main melody makes me think: "olympic funeral" - the
patch you're using for that, is it Absynth with one of the
alternate scales?

its absynth, but its not an alternative scale

just an odd pad

listening and typing...

already it sounds very different from anything i've heard
from you.

very textured, i like. very chaotic, brooding but still
pretty... violet flower is an apt title me thinks.

i like the synth pad work deff.

it's quite.. vast.. yep. large.

i likey. i just don't like the end. unless maybe you kick
in one of your really heavy beat traks right afterward.

i listened to it... not bad, can't say it's what i normally
listen to though. out of interest what software/hardware to
you essentially use?

right now Im all software based...

Logic 6, ES1, ES2, EVOC, Reaktor 4, Absynth 2, Mach 5
Softsampler, and sometimes csound.

I plan on getting a Nord Modular G2 Rack, soon though. Just
gotta sell a few more pieces of old gear on ebay...

Oddly it sounds a very empty track, devoid of any sort of
deep feeling which is quite strange given the brooding
sounds used. It sounds like part of a soundtrack, which a
lot of your work does, but doesn't really lend well to
solitary listening. It's not bad...just lacking a certain
something.

that would be a disater as far as i'm concerned. keep on. <3

i REALLY like it. the noises are excellent. i guess my
only problems are the abrupt ending, and also i think you
could have developed that lower bass sound that comes in
loud at around 0:54 into a lower melody/harmony/something.
but this is definitely my favorite track from you that i
have heard.

I thought it`s pretty decent. My only grievence is that the
weird sounds sound rather affected, as if you have tried to
create this fucked up atmosphere while having a straight
mind. you have to really fuck your head up to make bammed up
music. And I don`t mean take drugs, I mean watch far too
much porn, or walk to far, or look at beggars when walking
home and smell their dirty clothes and breath. then your
head will be fucked and you`ll be ready to dip into the
non-technical full-void that is supreme fucked-upness. at
least that`s how I fuck up my head. Use less brain capacity
I reckon. Stare at the screen untill it`s a blur and prgram
the dots as if they are arch enemies who if you don`t beat
em, will zap you with mediocre sounds. thats me speaking for
myself and has fuck all to do with your track really, though
some of it does and that.

bye.

Very cool sounds. I am imagining a very large scale
dwelling, like a huge cave, that is being drilled into from
the outside by the manipulation of time itself; fast
forwarding, rewinding, pulsing back and forth around
singular significant moments. Would it be too cheesy to
have a solitary violet in the center of this cave...yes,
maybe. Very cool, but I think you should give the track it
an ending.

Hey Zeus, I was just checking out your site and had a
question: that Alien 4 Score you have up there, is that
something you made, or is it a track from the actual score
of the film?

Wow. It sounded like it could have been right out of the
film itself. Well done! You're a talented guy. Seeing as
you love glitch AND you're good at moody and grand
orchestral scores, I might like to talk to you one day about
scoring a short film/film project. You never know.

thanks man! :)

Definately keep me in mind for a film... Im always up for
doing projects whenever I can. (Im working on the sound
design for an indie icelandic film score at the moment)

an interesting but neutral listen, for me. or maybe it's
somewhat pleasant, but uninteresting. overall this sounds
like background music. as others have pointed out, the
abrupt ending doesn't serve the track at all.
