downloading this set now from slsk and it sounds like a
great one but the sound quality is fucking shit. is there a
good version about?

i was thinking that there must be more than one bootleg of
this gig, considering the huge number of people that'd be at
an event like sonar..

im also looking for a better one but i can't find it, and i
been looking for a long time. there were many people on the
last years sonar as well but apperantly no one recorded it.
and i would love to get a bootleg of his bologna 2002 set
which was even harsher stuff then sonar 01, and there were
9.000 people there - all i could find so far were two short
clips :(

I got a pretty good quality mp3 of that set (thanks sepix, i
owe you TONS)

its one of my fave live sets i have - the phat "super sharp"
bassline, the screaming whitehouse samples, the gabba
noisefest, polynomial C, bogdan, pusher

I was at last sonar2003 but don't have a recording although
i wish i did cause it was the first time i ever heard RDJ
play detroit-style techno and he played topnotch stuff too -
it went on for 40 minutes before he got into his regualr
Drukqs/jungle/braindance stuff..

keyfumbler, what's the size of your sonar 01 file?
i have the 50,5 MB one and it's only something over 40
minutes long.

and i'd love to hear those italian pop-dance tunes he was
fucking around by the end of his sonar 03 set :)

i have a cut-up copy, all tracks split up separately, except
all of their ID3s say:

artist: Aphex Twin
Title: On
Album: On (#1)
Year: 1993
Genre: Other (ID3v1) Electronica (ID3v2)

all are 160kbit but they're shite quality. very distorted...
:/

those splited files are the same quality as that 50 mb file.
unfortunately.

oh dear.

what the fuck is the problem, is it that all of the
thousands of people there are too pilled off their faces for
one of them to record a half decent bootleg?

*seethes with resentment for and envy of those who were
there*
