there's a good chance i'll be moving to sydney in a month or so, because my girlfriend is applying for a job there.. it'd be nice to meet up with sydney xlt-ers.. and also to have people to show me around.. i'd definitely be up for playing gigs too, as long as its not a strictly hardcore/noise night.. hehe |

yeah that would be fckn brilliant and no its not a strictly anything night it just happens that most of the artist we know are either thumpin hardcore, noisecore breakcore stuff, we are lookin to have a nice variety of stuff, idm, glitch, noise, ambient whatever, we're just lookin to put on interesting electro cause no one elese is doin it, we've been wantin to for ages and we both get into awide variety of shit. |

oh and before i go too much further i should warn that it is a free night, we aren't making anything off it so expenses are comin out of our pockets so, we can't really afford to pay, we do however try to look after artists etc. arrangements can be made for things, i don't know these are things we can work out with people that are keen, but just to let everyone know this isn't something that we're makin money off, we're just puttin it on cause we love the music. |

indeed.. my idea for my next gig (whether its here or in sydney) is to take the volume down a bit, have it low enough so people can hear each other without shouting into their ears.. and play some nice blippy ambient stuff with semi-glitchy evolving beats.. i'm working on a live set at the moment thats like this |

yeah cool, i'm the same,just lovethe oportunity. the venue isn't that big, but it's a space, they have an outdoor part plus indoors which is smaller, you can fit a few people in, we hope to get the bill sussed out soon for our first show so we can slaughter with advertising. But yeah let me or refund know when yr down and we'll all hook up for sure, i'd be real happy to put you on the bill and also just hangin out. |

yeah man, me and dislasystem juststarted a crew with some other friends, got a sound system and generator so we play wherever. Allways lookin for more artists there too, tho like i said acts are predominately noisecore, hardcore etc. we had one planned for valentines day but thats been put back to start of march i think, innerr city venue. We play stuff bush, outdoors, abandoned warehouses etc. it is heaps of fun. |

yeah i know its a bit like that, but some of the artists are noisy in a venetian snares kinda way, but yeah it is a lil like that, there just doesn't seem to be a lot of other styles out there, its about time people get out of there bedroom i fckn reckon. freewebs is pretty good, reliable, yeah no ads, tho 5o file limit, and i think 20mb?? space, if i runout i start a new account and crosslink hehe.
