toxic pushes the limits of how we define pop music. this is
a good thing.

The song had about as much emotion in it as a microwaved
hedgehog.

I hate this song... her best song was "Not a child, not yet
a woman" or something... it spoke to the woman inside of me!

i hate those watered down idm influences, it sounds just
like some effects because they couldnt think of anything
else for the production

Ahem, the song has about as much soul as a saxophone playing
Kim Kay. Yar.

Cathy Dennis wrote it, and she wrote Can`t get you out of my
head and swet dreams my sweet la ex, both are catchy choons
and that.

I assumed Brittney Spears wrote this song herself... I
always thought it impossible that singers wouldn't write
their own stuff...

After d'ling the video I played it with the volume turned
right down and continued to listen to a DjDara mix I forgot
I had.
Exocet Demonspeed really worked so much better alongside
that video.
The video is hot though despite not finding her attractive
b4. I'm digging the red hair, but I have a thing for red
hair.

"I assumed Brittney Spears wrote this song herself... I
always thought it impossible that singers wouldn't write
their own stuff..."

your joking right?? 99% of pop music isn't written by the
singer. Kylie doesn't even write her own songs but I admire
her because at least she admits she can't do it. She said
she leaves the song writing to people that can do it well
like Nick Cave.

what's even more embarassing is, when interviewers ask
people like kylie minogue if her songs are autobiographical
:)

"toxic pushes the limits of how we define pop music. this is
a good thing."

haha, someone actually said that? I'd describe pushing the
limits of pop music as 'the beatles' later music... nothing
in pop these days is anwhere near pushing the limits imo.
Its all way too safe to get the biggest audience and most
money possible.

my ears have spotted a growling dark'n'dirty synth in the
track, which surprised me, but then i realized that miss
spears' musical career is likely to run the gambit, in that
they'll try to attach any seemingly viable form of "music"
to her sluttish dancing in order to sell more rekkids.

radio.

a masterpiece, but surely not HER masterpiece. this is what
happens when pop becomes art in the hands of a mighty
producer. perfect track, gives me the creeps every time i
hear it, even though i hate Britney's ARTISTIC OUTPUT
overall
