worst CDs to leave at someone's house

On Christmas day I went to my friend Lia's house and she
was trippin on acid and said "hey bring some of that
electronic music you like, I want to hear it."

So I grabbed "MHTRTC" by BOC, "Peel Sessions II" by
Autechre, and "Drukqs (disc 2)". She really liked the BOC
and said that "Drukqs" made her feel like her heart was
going to explode.

Well since then I haven't been able to get the CDs back from
her house due to her getting in a fight with me and blah
blah blah I want them back.

The moral of this story:
NEVER BRING YOUR CDS ANYWHERE

bring burned copies instead.

I left my Tiki Obmar CD at my friends house a couple months
ago and I still haven't got it back yet.

the 2nd disc of my Twin Peaks 1st season dvd set is at
someones house, who I haven't spoken to in a LONG time, so
it'll be pretty hard and very awkward to do so now.

Yeah I agree with you. I left 6 albums at my best friend's
house. She really wanted to get into my music (I've made her
listen to some idm for quite a while at small dose).

So I left : AE's Tri Repetae++, BOC's Music has the rights
to Children, AFX's Richard D. James Album and Squarepusher's
Big Loada. I really think that's the top 4 albums for any
non-IDM listeners. On top of this, I gave her a Godspeed
you Black Emperor and a Sigur Ros album.

But it's been almost a month now, and ARGH I hate it when
the urge to listen to some of these album come up and I
don't have them. I won't fucking download MP3's of them.
;-D

I once lent SAW2 to a friend years ago... When he worked at
a pizza parlor... Anyway... He gave me back the cd with
marinara sauce stains on the case and flour on the cds... I
made him buy me a new one... And I never lent him anything
ever again!

yeah I can lend stuff to classmates - cause I know I'll get
them back and I know they take good care of them + I can
introduce them to new music (to them).
But I never bring original CDs to parties, cause even I can
destroy them then. I just burn 'em and everything works
fine. Plus most times I have to make compilation CDs (if I
bring CDs with aggressive or noisy music only, people will
tell me to switch CD. If I bring cds with some tracks that
appeal to most people, then I can just switch track and
everyone's happy).

there's nothing wrong with lending a cd if you can introduce
someone to new and good music you like

i prefer making mix tpaes/cd-r's than lending out my
cd's/vinyl.
only a few peeps can take stuf with them because i know they
care about it as much as i do.

the lesson certainly is to bring cd-rs... cause the only cds
you ever bother bringing to your friends houses are the best
ones, so it's always a shit buzz if they're left there...

I once lent my friend a ninja tune 3cd comp... the 1st cd
came back fucked because his 4-year old brother put shredded
tinfoil inside his stereo :-/

But more interestingly, what's the worst thing you
can leave at someone's house? I vote used sanitary towel in
the dishwasher.

same shit with my bestfriend. he often asked me to lend him
a CD he liked, but somehow he kept the CD for months, so I
am only lending burnt copies to him and if he likes he can
buy, damn!
