yesterday, I got some tibetan candy from a tibetan girl I
work with (my job is helping tibetan exchange students get
set-up in Norway, and to help them with anything..
norwegian-ish).

I asked her what it was, and she said: "it is like candy...
only it is meat."

"Hmm, I'll save that for later, when I have something to
wash it down with," I thought.

Later on, i remembered it, and I ate it...

It was dried yak-meat with cherry and chili-flavour! GAHK!

Obviously, they come with lots of other flavours, too...
like orange and... I don't know what else.

we had a multicultural potluck lunch at my high school one
night.
i ate first and asked questions later. once i found out what
i was eating, and finally discovering what that odd sweet
taste was, i immediatly threw up

it was an east indian dish, a string of meat, dipped in
ultra sugary orange sauce mixed with curry and chicken
innards..

meat, spice, and candy dont mix man!

i've read that in italy, they make some famous pastry with
meat, almonds and chocolate. o_O

i don't even want to imagine what it tastes like (especially
because i'm vegetarian).

We did something similar with the funkmaster when he came to
the uk. We took him out for a traditional fry up and only
told him what black pudding was after he'd eaten it :D (it's
cooked blood).
