hmm there once was a sit on the 'net that had a list of error messages, or specific words that you could pick from to get the right codec packs. hmmm let me see.

You can get an codec pack from Kazaa lite. About 10mb. It's got loads on there - including Div X and Xvid - and it installs them all in the right order and place. If you really can't get the fucker to play, try that. Uninstall div x and xvid first though.
