ok --

haven't had soulseek, or money for cds for -- um, going on
three months now -- but both are back, at least temporarily

what are the noteworthy releases of the last three months?

you might want to check the new Jimmy Edgar ep on warp...
it's pretty nice...

also: Apparat- Duplex
Monolake- Momentum (really wicked deep intelligent techno)
Eight Frozen Modules- the Abduction of Barry (really fucked
up dsp craziness... like drill only not drill...)
Adventure Time- Dreams of Water Themes (playful breakbeats
from Daedelus and Frosty)
Twine- (s/t) (nice ambient stuff)
Ghislain Poirier- Beats as Politics (nice glitch-hop type
stuff)
Luke Vibert- YosepH (nice old school acid goodness, if you
haven't heard it already)
Triosk meets Jan Jelinek- 1+3+1 (kind of jazz-ambient
fusion...)

that's a lot of the cool new stuff

as for coil... i like horse rotorvator... but i haven't
heard too many of their albums (even though i think they're
really cool... why haven't i heard more coil, dammit?!)
... you should check their discography on allmusic.com or
something, and find a high rated album that sounds like it's
up your alley...
