Yeah .. Zappa I think is a bit hit n miss - Its all pretty goofy - I don't know. I've got Freak Out! - which is alright - Lumpy Gravy is fucken weird but wonderful - some pretty cool lines in there. Um. and Were in it for the money - as mentioned above - ripoff of Sgt. Peppers but doesn't sound anything like it - sort of. But its all pretty much sort of based on the 60's groove - so I guess it depends how one tolerates this. Some of the later albums I've heard of his - are totally different, not so high energy and to be perfectly Frank - a bit lame. |
