I just found this out recently, and think it's funny. Salva has since directed Powder for Disney and the Jeepers Creepers movies. The molestation, specifically, was filming himself performing oral sex on the boy and the other way round, Salva is quite fat too, which makes it all the funnier. And they included the sex video as an easter egg on the DVD. Amazon review: Totally WACK movie!!!! Boy I am really, really glad that I didn't buy this movie from anyone on Ebay for $200.00 on DVD or even here on Amazon where the price is even higher in the $300.00 range...I'd be extremely mad! I got this from a "moms and pops" style online store "Asylum of Oblivion" for under $20 beans on DVD... First of all there is NOTHING scarey about this movie except the acting. Everyone sounded like they were on stage for a school play and trying hard to take their roles seriously. The movie only goes down as being a classic because of the fact that Victor Salvo molested the young star (Casey) in real life in which he was tried for and convicted in the late 80s and the other fact that the latest DVD release of the movie from this past summer (August 2003 release) was pulled because of the Directors molestation history behind the movie; therefore whatever DVD copies that happened to be released in this time that anyone picked up was considered limited release and if you got it in time you're lucky. |

Sam Rockwell was in the movie too, as one of the brothers. And there's this scene where the kid he molested, Nathan Winters, pisses the bed and gets up and changes his underwear and you see his ass. He was 12 at the time. And the brothers run away from the clown mostly in their underwear. Francis Ford Coppolla produced it and even financed Jeepers Creepers. It's the funniest story I ever did hear. Have you seen this movie? All his other movies are said to have something funny in them, like the pale hairless boy in Powder, and the Creeper in that other movie choosing to kill boys rather then girls (i've not actually seen it but since finding out this story three days ago I've committed myself to learning). |

I mean I've not seen Jeepers Creepers, but I have seen Clownhouse, so everyone should see it. I saw it before I found out about molesting and such, it's a wonderful movie. Most video stores have it. |
