Don't forget to take down your Xmas decorations, and
replace your Xmas avatars. Its bad luck

Well orginally, the Twelfth Night is January 5th, the last
last day of the Christmas Season before Epiphany (January
6th), and often included feasting along with the removal of
Christmas decorations. Its considered by many bad luck to
have not removed them by then.

hyakusen: your english is terribly, you meant to say: "what
is?"

and he means that its bad luck to have christmas stuff
around after christmas.

Traditionally, you should have all xmas decorations taken
down by the twelth night of christmas (tonight). To not do
so is meant to bring bad luck. Old wives tales tell of a
goblin in the household for every pine needle still in the
house after today (perhaps the origins of spring cleaning?
;)

So, change your xmas avatars :D

I think it's just folklore- it's not really a part of any
religion (although, I suppose it being part of
christmas/mithras you could argue it was christian or pagan
respectivley :)

poland is crazy, I had a friend who had lived there many
many years, he was born there and now he is over here in
Canada, after living in America for a while, he has traveled
the world, and he has a great perspective on life... but he
always says poland is fucked right up.
