Whereas vinyl and analogue artifacts are often seen as
desireable and warm, cd and digital errors are seen as cold,
clinical and generally unwanted (in "normal" music). Glitch
gives this idea 2 fingers and actually seeks to make sounds
like CDs skipping, digital distortion and feedback, beeps
and crackles that appear very "jagged" on an oscilloscope.
Noteable artists in this genre include oval and autechre.
