You've probably enocountered the problem with the PS2
displaying everything in green when using a SCART-cable to
watch movies.

Does anyone know if the same problem occurs with the
component RGB-cables?

(i'm buying a DVD-player, but not for a while, yet. I've got
to buy two Technics turntables and a dj-mixer first)

check the rating or the security on the PS2 before getting
different cables

hmm.. i don't think it's the parental security. It's some
form of copy-protection by Sony. They don't want people to
be able to get full quality out of their PS2's. Or.. they
PS2 just sends a wrong signal. That's why I'm wondering if
they even thought about component cables when making it
(which is better than SCART). Has anyone got component
cables for their PS2?
