....SHIT!!!!.... I started running a bath then I went back
into my studio to carry on with a tune I'm in the middle of,
whacked the volume up & got completely engrossed for like 20
fucking minutes or so, finally stop to make myself a drink,
only to hear those familiar water sounds as a fucking SHIT
LOAD of water has overflown out of the bath, through the
ceiling & into the kitchen & it's so bad it's starting to
get into the two adjoining rooms, one of which has a PC just
next to the door where the water is pissing down......... I
put my hand in the bath to pull the plug & I can feel a
slight electrical current!!! I've got a fucking disaster
area in my house GOD DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........
Help

Good thing that didn't happen today, or you would be
re-enacting Filter's "Take A Picture" video....

I've burnt dinner three times due to music making. I've also
let a pan boil dry and all the paint onit burnt off. The
smell lingered for weeks.

going to fall off the ceiling 8/

2 solutions for future reference

1. Take showers

2. Don't bathe at all,,,or at least at your place.

maybe you should consider taking showers instead of baths...
if you can put aside your scented soaps and such :(

*UPDATE*

Everything seems to be ok bar the soaking wet carpets, a
light bulb thats full of water & a serious chance of the
floor boards under the bath rotting & someone falling
through the ceiling mid bath.

Oh, & I now officially have a phobia of the bath, or atleast
getting in it.

I wouldn't say that, while the bath was overflowing I was
creating a soon to be magnificent tune, it's soooo funky, I
feel the need to do a little jig *does a little jig*

Ahhh... much better

dude, you had ill shit like that going on and you stopped to
write about it on XLT? No offense but that seems just as
stupid as forgetting the water is running, especially since
it's even happened to you 3 times before! aye aye aye!

thats 5 times before you muppet & what on earth are you
going on about....... My actions need no explanation,
especialy to a simpleton such as yourself...... go run
yourself a cold bath or something

ouch... your choice of words is ironic considering that if I
did choose to run a bath, I know that I could actually do it
without fucking up. I didn't say your actions needed
explaining, but I did imply that maybe you should get your
priorities straight before you go flood the house and then
sit around typing while it spreads.

haha, that's funny... I always worry that I'll forget about
the running water when I get baths, but somehow I manage to
get it turned off in time... ;)

I have a drainage pipe in my bath tube anyways!

hahah, actually I hoped that you did in fact bathe in tubes,
as it would be interesting to learn about the logistics of
such an act. ;)
