I borrowed this tape from a friend... it's nice. Even at
first listen.
I don't know what genre it is. But it's soft.
A bit jazzy. On most of the tracks (so far) there are no
drums.

people seriously need to check out a tune by them called
Hallogallo. Really hypnotic guitar bass and drums stuff.

Neu! is OK. I like that first self-titled one, Negativland
is great. And of course that album art...

Yeah I use to listen to Neu! like 6 or 7 years ago. I was
into them big time going back then. Got a some vinyl
somewhere and a few tapes. Neu! are fucking classic, was
totally into them big time and could get right into them now
if I put on a tape. Neu! rule.

The only Neu! albums you need are "Neu!", "Neu! 2" and "Neu!
'75" (The band Negativland owe their entire existance to
that album). Avoid everything else like the plague...

What's the other Neu like? Wasn't there one released not too
long ago? Was that just a belated release of older crap or
is it actually newer stuff? I'll avoid it like the plague if
you tell me to, I trust you because you are a catlover.

Yeah. Anything released after 1975 are aborted sessions,
badly-recorded live stuff...not worth your time.

Other Neu?

Just picked up the self-titled debut. Seems fairly
far-sighted upon my first listen. Very "post-rock"
considering it was recorded in the early 70's.

I'm gonna check them out sometime... I've read some stuff
about them, and it sounds like something I might enjoy...

Neu! were one of those influential German bands from the
70s. The 2 members were in the early Kraftwerk line up. If
you like Neu! check out some Can.
