I've been looking for some pure ambient, mostly beatless
rhubarb/lichen/matchsticks-style. What would you recommend?
One of my favourites right now is Dirqual's Laura Joseph 2.
Something simular to that would be bliss.

Hmm, that Dirqual track is very SAW 2ish. Check out The
Drift Inside by Vir Unis.

Eno's ''The Pearl'' with Harold Budd is good, right up there
with Music for Airports and the rest of them. And Budd's
''Lovely Thunder'' is nice.

wow,
now i'm listening to samples of Faust organist Hans Joachim
Irmler's new solo LP "LifeLike" from brainwashed and it
sounds excellent.. not so much melodic but beautifully dark
noisy textures. i'll have to check the whole album..

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I bought music for airports the other day and it was ok but
not as brillant as i'd thought.
I've got most of biosphere's stuff and substrata is
brilliant, i agree on that, kobresia being my personal
favourite at the moment.
I'm gonna check this out, thanks again.
