My Piano Piece

This was my final project for a class, but I'm only now
getting around to uploading it.

Its a theme and variation, which means, my teacher gave us a
12 bar melody, and we had to
1. State the theme at original tempo, but with our own
chords
2. Have 4 other variations (change the melody and styles...
but keep a hint of the original melody in it)
3. Make the final one, a "finale" of some sort.
4. has to be in 20th century style

anyways, here it is... enjoy!

Theme And Variations

(sorry, its on my old zebox site... long story)

Your good man, nice stuff, too rigid sounding for me but it

makes me think of silent movies

did you program or play this piece?

I programed it...

the reason why I hadn't posted it before... was because I
hadn't put in velocity or minute tempo changes. I just wrote
it, and turned the score in, because I was too busy, but
since I had time now, I tried to make it sound as real as
possible. :)

Sounds too random for me, and lifeless. I don't like the
drums at all, you should have put more effort in there, and
the synth is a bit flat sounding and default. I reckon you
could do so much better if you only spent more time.

so you're tying to say the gated snare is too much?

just a bit. I would have preferred some Ragga spat over the
top as well...make it proper hardcore.

I'll comment properly after I finish eating :P
