these two songs seem so similar in ways, well just the main
synth riff.
BOC - the beach at redpoint
Aphex Twin - next heap with

i know this was a bad example, but i always find
similarities in certain songs i hear. any similarities you
care to share?

1st track on Analogue bubblebath 3 uses this one drum beat
that RDJ has used numerous times in earlier works.

i love aphex twin, i really do, i have ALL his stuff.
but....

some of his stuff isnt talented. i mean, some of his albums
were masterpieces, but stuff like AB1-2-4, Classics, and
caustic window are just simple loops with simple easy to
make sounds. i make that kind of music when im high using 1
pattern bar. yeah its sad...

but all this is off topic..
im just lonely and feel like talkin

most of his work is just rehashed sounds. just put in
different orders...but when you create them i guess you have
license to do that.

The Jam's ''Start!'' rips off the bass riff from The
Beatles' Taxman. And apparently, Imagine was nicked from an
obscure Elvis gospel track.

That Caustic Window stuff is gold. Simple, but gold.
