terrible movie

so i took spank (the 13 year old "rent-a-kid") there and saw
the first 10 minutes of the movie, before they show the name
of the movie and whos in it, and i honestly thought the
movie was over, but no, i had to watch the rest of it,
terrible dialog, xtra cheesy effects, the only thing i liked
was the double barrel gun the dude had and when they lost
their eyes, the make-up was nicer than some lame digi

*ps dont tell hank

i see how it was directed towards the mexican community, but
the film blew, yeah i did like the church battle scene, and
the locals making accoustic guitars

but the 1 hour and 40 min, could have been condensed to 1
hour easily, and i hate 1 hour movies

the day of the dead scene and the revolution was worth
mentioning

here is a review i wrote for Once upon a time in
Mexico...
I rather enjoyed it but i see how it could
piss some people off.

Robert Rodriguez is Mexico's answer to Jon Woo. The action
scenes of this 3rd instalment of the 'El Mariachi' legacy
are shot well, and in pure Rodriguez over-the-top style. But
what I like most about 'Once Upon A Time...' is the way the
story is told. Cheech Marin has a scene with Johnny Depp
where he gives an account of El Mariachi shooting up a bar,
using his guitar as a pump action fully automatic weapon.
Then he admits, that his story "may have picked up a few
embellishments." In fact the whole movie plays out this way,
telling the story as a fantastic, legend, as if every time
the story is told, it gets better and better. Overall, the
film has an epic feel and nicely ties up the trilogy. So,
aside from a few continuity issues, I really enjoyed this
film.

even if it was made in the '80's, id still consider it a
flop
